The Map!

Vidalia has a very nice CIA map-feature which shows the location of Tor-servers throughout the world.

This map is very cool.

Thus; Tork should have such a map, just like Vidalia, only way better, perhaps based on a map in higher resolution so you can really zoom in and view more exact where the connections are going. Perhaps it would be possible to make this happen by .. ehm.. recycling code from Vidalia.

The Bandwidth Monitor

BW used by Tor is very useless uninteresting information and thus it should be readily available in a huge number of graphical presentations who scroll over the screen. Tork now shows this information in two extremely small grahps who .. basically are so small they tell you NOTHING.

The list of servers

The list of servers on the right side of the screen CAN NOT BE SORTED BY:

  • Country
  • Family

And this would be nice. Country would be nice. Just splitt the bar between the flag and the server name and magically add some sweet underlying code.

By family I mean that my Tor servers admit they are one family, it would be interesting to see who else admits they are under one entity control with some sort of .. sorting feature.

Also, and I realize the immensity of this implementation is hard to do, the family-sort could include sorts by NETWORK/SUBNET, if for example someone is running 20 servers on the same LAN it would show up sorted as a group/samily.
